Merry Christmas !

Christmas came and went way too fast this year. We really enjoyed getting the kids all hyped up about it since they are both old enough to understand what is going on. Maryn could have cared less of course and woke up about 2 hours after the opening of presents :). Presley got the baby whoopsie doo from Santa that she asked for and Knox got a sword. His favorite present was his handy manny tools. Presley's favorite was her baby doll, and the camera from aunt stacy, although she really likes the jaguar purse from Gigi. Anyway- the kids got up at 6:45, not too bad. We had christmas Eve dinner with our friends from the quad and we just took it easy on christmas relaxing and watching the kids enjoy their new toys. Knox's gift to us is that he is potty trained !!! WooHoo ! I can't believe it only took a week ! I guess he was ready. Oh ya- and I had a birthday 29 ! What in the world !

So here we go...Our tree before the chaos began :)

Potty Training...Take #3

Only pic I have of him in his underwear...Aug 2009

Alright....So I finally decided to stick to it. We started on Thursday afternoon thanks to my 2 sisters giving me a hard time about the fact that he is 2 1/2 and it is time. Alright- so I know it doesn't really matter until the kid is ready, anywhere up until 4, but Im a sucker for peer pressure :)...j/k. He has shown signs of being ready for a while, but I have been lazy. So anyway- since we started he has only had 2 accidents. Luckily enough they were pee accidents on the kitchen floor. Easy clean up. Knox is a crazy pooper, due to intestinal issues, so today he pooped 5 times in the potty !! We are so proud of him and a little dumbfounded and how well he has taken to it. Keep your fingers crossed that it continues to go well. We have already surpassed the period where every 5 seconds I ask if he needs to go, or put him on the potty. He can now tell us when he needs to go and has done great ! We love you Knox you are such an awesome little boy !

BOYCOTTING SANTA....

Me- "Presley you know that Santa knows that you are being mean to Knox and not listening to your mom and dad" "And if you continue to be naughty he will not bring you any toys !"

Presley- "Thats ok I have lots of toys anyway"

Me- "Well you will be super sad on Christmas when he doesn't bring you any presents"

Then I left it at that. and about an hour later our sweet little 4 year old says....

" Well if Santa doesn't bring me a present I am going to put a sign outside on the porch that says "NO SANTA"...

Thanksgiving...

So it is obviously well after Thanksgiving, but I am just now getting around to blogging about it. Thanksgiving was fun for our family. It was low key and just us. We cooked way too much, but we enjoyed our meal. We organized a Family Turkey Trot for thanksgiving morning and invited a couple families in our quad to join in and it was so much fun. We decided to make it a family tradition to do it every thanksgiving. I had promised Presley that we would do a turkey trot and she would get a shirt and a medal, but the one that we were gonna do was $18 for her to run 1/4 mile !!! Ugh ! So we made our own shirts and I went and bought medals for all of the participants :). She was super happy. Friday after thanksgiving we went on the UTA trax train to Salt Lake. We drove up to Sandy with our friends and hopped on the train. This was a treat for Knox. He loves trains. So instead of it only taking us about 15-20 minutes from Sandy to get to down town SLC, the train took about 45 minutes, but the kids loved every minute of it. Maryn is doing well, still growing so fast ! Here are some pics of our bumbles ! Baby weight is stuck on good. Im having such a hard time dropping it this time around. I have lots of excuses, I just need to exercise !!! So no pics of me :)

Thanksgiving day with 2 happy girls ! Maryn loves to be naked, she cracks us up. She can be screaming her head off when you change her diaper, but as soon as you get it off and she is naked she is all smiles :)

She thinks she is so big :)

We went to get family pictures organized by our relief society at church. They got some photogs to come and do family pics for free and they turned out not so good, the lady cropped them awful ( that is why Presley's top half of her head is missing). Maryn is 8 weeks and just kind of slouchy, Bry and I look gigantor...yada yada- so here are the best ones out of the 8, yes 8 that we got. Some families got more than 100, and we got 8 !! I guess that is what you get for free :)

Presley's Big Fall

So last night I had a huge headache and stayed home while Bry and the kids went to eat at a friends house. I put Maryn to bed and came out in the living room and sat on the couch. As I was sitting there I heard Presley crying outside and I figured she tripped on her way home. Bryan walked in the door holding this inconsolable 4 year old. He laid her on the couch and showed me her back. It took everything I had not to freak out. I immediately called the after hours nurse at her Dr.'s office and told the what had happened and asked what I need to look for if she had done internal damage. Bry was at the dinner table so we only know what happened by what she has told us. She said she was climbing down off a bunk bed and fell onto a wooden drawer on the floor. She said she was so scared because she couldn't talk or breathe, so it had knocked the wind out of her. Bry didn't even recognize her cry when she came out of the room because she still hadn't caught her breath. Poor thing was soooo upset. We iced her and cuddled her and I was a little paranoid so I had her sleep in my bed so I could check on her frequently. Anyway- she couldn't wait to show her teacher at school today her big owie. She is such a funny kid. And this has nothing to do with it, but I want to document it. Bry made fudge and Presley loved it but she could remember what it was called so all day today she has called it something different....Fidge, Bidge, Budge, chocolate stuff :) Here are pics of her back about an hour after the fall.

Presley's BIG surprise !!

So I was probably way more excited about this event than she was, well not really, she was really excited too. Last week I saw an advertisement on TV for Disney Princesses on Ice to be at the Energy Solutions Arena in SLC. I went online and tried to get tickets with no luck. I call a couple of ladies in our quad that have girls around Presley's age that would enjoy going too. So Saturday morning Leah and I ran down to Smith's grocery and bought tickets for thursday night. We decided not to tell the girls and to keep it a surprise. I didn't even hint about anything until 30 minutes before we were going to leave I told Presley to go pick a princess dress to wear that she and I were going on a date. She chose her Cinderella dress. We got in the car with Leah and her daughter Debbie and we drove to SLC. We stood all the girls outside and then told them where we were going. They were all so excited, Presley however was the only one screaming and jumping up and down with excitement. We had awesome seats, which were actually for the handicapped patrons but they sold us tickets to this platform and the girls had a ton of room to move around and wiggle. So here are some pics from our night.

This is supposed to be the last pic...they were worn out

October...

Alright I have been a super blog slacker. Presley has been doing great in school. She has learned to write her name and some of her numbers. She fell on the playground and hit her nose pretty good. The teacher said it bled pretty good and it was swollen for several days. We took her to the ENT to have it checked out and make sure it wasn't broken, not broken just pretty bruised. Knox is a wild thing. He cracks us up daily. He has been climbing up in our lap and hugging us and saying " I love you too mom (or dad)". Maryn has been growing too quickly. She is now 2 months old and getting to be a pretty smiley baby. She is pretty mellow unless she is hungry or hasn't pooped in a couple days. So weird, I have never had a baby not poop all day everyday. She weighed 10lbs 1oz at her 2 month well baby. Bry has registered to take the LSAT in Dec so we are getting ready to start the application process for law school. My pitching lessons start up this week and I will be working out of a new warehouse, so we will see how that goes. Thursday this week I am taking Pres on a mommy/daughter date to Disney Princess' on Ice. She has no idea and I am soooo excited!! I am going to pick her up from school on thursday and bring her home and tell her to pick out a princess dress that we are going somewhere special. When we go out in the quad 3 of her good friends with their mommies will be ready to go to with their little girls not know where we are going either. I can hear the excited giggles already !! I told Bry to take Knox to Monster Truck next time it is in town for his special date :). Alright- Here are some photos-
Halloween we went Trick or Treating at the single student dorms...We knocked on a door and a girl held out a bowl of lollipops, and Knox says "I already got one of those" so he wasn't going to take one, but the sweet girl dug thru it and found him a piece of chocolate, He was winning everyone over ! And one of the latest Presley ism's- Bry and I were cleaning out our storage closet and the kids were into everything ! Finally I say "Ugh, we can't get anything done with you guys under our feet and into everything !" Presley says..."Well maybe fercause you shouldn't have had kids mom". What a Nut and what do you say to that ? Really ?! Alright really here are some pics :)

Maryn's 1 month Birthday....

Maryn is one month old. It has flown ! Being busy with the 2 older bumbles has made life a little hectic. She is doing well and we have a weight check on monday since she wasn't back up to birth weight at her 2 week. Presley is doing well with her earrings. She is anxious to start changing them out. Knox got a spiderman costume from DI the other day for $5. He loves it. You should have seen his face when he saw it hanging there, it was priceless. Oh and for all of my BYU softball Alum...our old navy uniform pants are now on sale at DI for $5....haha, cracked me up to see them there. So here is spiderman and my little BYU fans...

Oh where to begin...

This will not contain too much text. We have had so much going on lately so this is a combo post. Presley started riding her bike without training wheels about 2 months ago, but I have yet to post about it. Presley has started Pre-K at BYU and absolutely loves it. Maryn had her first bath. Knox is starting to Potty train ( hopefully for real this time ). Presley got her ears pierced today. Bryan has started the fall semester. Maryn got her toungue clipped for being tongue tied. Alright I think that is where we are. Here are some pics of some of these events. Hope you are all doing well. Life with 3 is a little chaotic while we learn to juggle the madness :)

Maryn Jane Fallowfield...

We are now officially a family of 5 ! That sounds so crazy to me. Maryn Jane was born on Tuesday morning September 1, 2009 at 9:55am. She weighed 7 lbs 11oz and is 20 inches long. She is healthy and doing well. We are so excited to have her join our family. She is such a sweet baby. She looks a lot like her big sister and her mommy :). Presley and Knox were super excited to get to meet her and the first time they came to the hospital to meet her I was in the middle of breastfeeding her and Knox said to her " Not eat my mommy !" We will be able to leave the hospital tomorrow and I am sure I will be in for a big adjustment dealing with 2 kiddos that just want to run and play and one that just wants to eat and sleep. Here are a few pictures of our new addition. I will post new ones soon.
