August Fun...

Bry had the great idea to take the kids to the Farm up in Lehi, UT last tuesday. We went last year with some friends and haven't been since. Presley hadn't forgotten about it though and was so excited about the thought of getting to ride a pony. She was so brave and hopped right on up on the pony about 2 loops around she started looking over her shoulder at the horse behind her and every time she looked back her expression was more and more concerned. Finally she started crying and Bry walked beside her and asked her what was going on. Here is her reply "That horse is making a mad face at me". She got super worried that the horse was mad, so he reassured and the ride was soon over and she was fine. Knox didn't care to ride and he really enjoyed the animals as long as he didn't have to touch them and they didn't touch him. So here are some pics from out eventful evening.

Pres on the Pony before the meltdown...

Having fun pretending to milk a cow...or should I say watering, that is what they had in there.

9 months Preggo !

Alright so before you get into this I have a warning...this post will contain a lot of self pity and whining...So here we are on the 8th day of August and I have been absolutely miserable for about 3 weeks. The hot weather has not helped me out with my swelling at all. I have been to the hospital 3 times with false labor stuff. The last time I was sure we were gonna have a baby, but no I was sent home and given a lecture the next day by my not so wonderful OB. I am now 36 weeks and have met my Dr. a total of 3 times. The practice I go to is so busy. He is always delivering babies. I can't stand the head nurse. Everytime I talk with them about my concerns they think I am an idiot. I mean really I am on my 3rd kid and I kind of know what is going on with my body, but whatever. I started the pregnancy with a blood pressure of 90/60. I hit 138/93 the other day, which was really high but have consistantly been sitting at about 138/82...still high right, but I am an idiot for being concerned. I have now put on 62 lbs ! I know I am no skinny, cute belly preggo, but come on ! And if I go to the c-section date of 9-1-09...I will be 39 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I have never been pregnant longer than 38 weeks ! Plus the Dr. thinks that she will be 9lbs !! Suggestions please on how to get things moving ! I know the usuals, but anyone had anything that worked for them ?

Summer Fun !

Uhhh, this wasn't supposed to be the first pic, but I can't move. So here I am at just about 33 weeks.

Our sweet babies checking out some ground hogs in Wyoming...

Bandaid fun on the road trip

He was so excited to ride his Harley...it was in storage in TN and we brought it back to UT with us.

Slip n slide fun at my moms house...it was really hot and they loved playing in the water

So here we are again a month since my last post.  I have been in a blogging lull and it has been hard for me to get back at it.  So we finished our fun trip to Tennessee on the 25th of June.  We all really enjoyed our trip and the kids love their cousins so much.  I was glad that we were able to share the kiddos with the family. The kids were great on the 1,945 miles it took for us to drive home.  We did it over 3 days, and had fun seeing some new places.
Presley is very perceptive, as are most children, but a little too much for comfort.  She asked my oldest sister one day ...mind you presley has very expresive body language, so she said this with her hands on her hips and her head tilted..."Aunt Stacy, you really look like you have a baby in your belly"...ya- shes not pregnant.  Then to my dads wife, Beth, who she has only visited with a handful of times...Beth came down stairs to visit and Presley immediately noted "I really like your slippers", and Beth said thank you...then Presley proceeded to say something to Beth and repeated it 3 times, Beth couldn't understand her so she looked at Bryan and asked "What is she saying" so Bryan looked at Presley and asked her what she was saying and Presley with hands on hips again "I said her teeth are a little bit yellow"...haha. So what cracks me up even more is that my sweet husband had to look at Beth and say "she said your teeth are a little bit yellow". Lovely I know.  But you never know what you are going to get when she starts talking.
Knox is our sweet boy.  He loves anything spiderman, motorcycle, or train.  He has decided that he wants to play baseball and anything is turned into a bat.  He is scheduled to have his tonsils and adenoids out this friday.  With the tubes we have still had 4 ear infections.  His tonsils are big enough that they are causing apnea, they are gigantic.  I am dreading the surgery, but hoping it will help him out a little.  He is talking so much 7 word sentences sometimes. I guess I shouldn't be surprised when he has a sister that won't stop talking.
Bryan is starting a new job on Monday.  He will be working for the power company doing AC repairs.  Sounds like it will be a good deal, pray for us that it will be.  I am 33 weeks along as of tuesday and ready to be done...only 4 more weeks until she is full term ! 6 more until the c-section date.  She is doing great.  We had a non stress test done this past week and she is doing super well for a baby as young as she is.  She is going to be a fiesty little one and we are anxious to meet her.  Well I hope you are all doing well and I know this blog didn't really say too much about what we have been up to the last month, but hey its something new.  Love to you all !

Update...

Welll seeing as how it has been over a month since I have updated I think that it is time to do so.  We are in TN.  The kids and I headed out with our good friend talena and her 3 kiddos for a cross country road trip.  Talena's husband and Bryan were working together in Nashville so we tagged along so we could see Bryan.  Time has flown since we have been here.  The kids were super excited to get to see their daddy and have absolutely loved spending time with their cousins.  The weather has been super hot and we have done lots of FREE activities.  Chattanooga has some great parks for kids.  I have just rolled over 30 weeks...so of course I am huge and getting more swollen everyday, but happy our baby girl is continuing to grow and be healthy.  Bryan has quit working with the pest control company in Nashville.  We are headed back to UT next week to find a full time job until school starts and get back on schedule.  Hope you are doing well- we will post some pics when we get home and I get more regular computer time :).

Knox's Tubes...

So dang cute in his hospital gown and pants...

Knox got tubes put in his ears today. We have been battling ear infections now for about 3 months and he has had fluid on his ears for who knows how long. So on monday he had another infection so we called the ENT and we went ahead and scheduled tubes for today. The infection was in his right ear and he has had fluid on his left for sometime and his eardrum actually ruptured yesterday and relieved that pressure, but in doing the tubes this morning the doctor said that the drainage had glued the eardrum closed again and it had already begun accumulating more fluid. So thank goodness for modern medicine :) He did great. I wasn't worried about the procedure itself, seeing as how it isn't very invasive and is very quick, but having him put under was a little nerve racking. He was a champ though, in pain when he woke up, but feeling like a normal 2 year old who could actually hear out of both ears today.

Mothers Day...

Happy Mothers Day to all of you ! Even if you don't have children yet. Motherhood has been such a growing experience for me. I have learned things through being a mother that could not have learned any other way. I love how having sweet babies that they make me strive to do better and be better, even in dealing with the trials that come with being a parent. They truly make me happy and bless my life everyday ! I love you Presley, Knox, and baby Maryn ( who is still in my tummy :)
This years mothers day celebration was in full tilt at the Fallowfield household starting at 1:40am. Knox woke up, probably with a night terror, screaming bloody murder that there were bugs in his room. He was freaking out and scared to death of his crib. I got him out and laid him with me, but he doesn't know how to sleep with us so he was everywhere. Finally at 2:30am he woke his sister up and she was bright eyed. They played in the living room Knox with his new tractor (thanks lauren) and Presley with her new plastic scissors cutting paper until 4am. I was wiped out so I got the glass bottle that has been put away for a week and put chocolate milk and gave it to Knox and put him back in bed. I know, no bottle in a week ! But I was desperate. Thank goodness he hasn't asked for one all day and took a sippy like a pro ! When we got home from church Presley picke a bouquet of flowers for me. That is the picture above. I loved it ! Nothing like flowers from a 4 year old. Happy Mothers Day.
