So I am blogging on the run and will add picture when I get home. So
Bry and I thought that we would try camping with our babies. We haven't been camping since May 2004 in the Grand Canyon, so we thought it was time to get back outdoors. Let me tell you - NEVER go camping in a small tent with a 1 year old and a 3 year old !! It was beautiful where we went and the kids were super excited. Knox has never slept with us, he has always been a crib baby, so he didn't know what to do with everyone laying around at night time. He kept throwing himself around playing and trying to decide if he should sleep, and asking everyone for a "bive"- high five.( Oh and I should mention we forgot his bottle for him to have water so he would sleep). In the process he was head butting everyone. Presley would almost be asleep and Knox would jump on her. So then she decided at about 11pm that she didn't want to sleep in the tent, she wanted to sleep in the car. Bryan moved all the stuff out of the back (
car seats, snacks, clothes...etc and put our blankets in the car. We have a small SUV so we weren't too crammed until Presley decided to sleep horizontal and fight in her sleep, she was literally throwing punches, crying, peed through her diaper, and continuously woke her brother...ya- fun times. I kept waiting for the sun to come up, it was the longest stinking night. We were all up by 6:50 and packed up and leaving the camp site by 7:52 am. Presley still thinks she had a blast camping, she got to hear an owl and there were some free range cattle on the mountain. She sang songs the whole way home. We got home Knox slept for about 3 hours, I slept for 45
mins and Presley and
Bry were troopers and cleaned the car out. Then by noon we went to a historical military fort out in the desert and it was really lame, not much out there, but a pretty drive. Today has been a super long day and I am headed out the door for pitching lessons. We didn't take pics from our campsite :( we were just ready to get home, maybe next time. But here are some from our way down the mountain and from our time at Camp Floyd today.

Earlier on the day we went camping, we had gone to Thanksgiving point to the dinosaur museum.
Knox was scared of this Shark- he was clinging to his daddy :) And since tuesday he has been walking around with his hands out like claws and saying "roar roar" like he is a dinosaur :)
