TWINS!!

So this has been an eventful week....3rd post since last Thursday !! Anyway- Shade clothing had a big sale on Saturday and Elizabeth and I ran over there and picked up some stuff. One of the shirts that I got, they also had the size for Presley so here we are sporting our new shirts as twins !

So it may seem a little redundant since we just posted a birthday post for Knox that we are now doing one for Presley. Their birthdays are only 2 days apart- so here is a little post for our baby girl. Presley is getting so big !! It is hard to believe that she is already 3 ! She loves to give hugs and kisses. She is a sweet girl who absolutely loves animals. She tries hard to please, but definitely has a mind of her own. We love her very much and are so grateful to have her in our family. And for those who enjoyed Knox's c-section pic- here is one of Presley.

So not only did we have a birthday to celebrate yesterday we also had a little BYU softball reunion. There was a lot of people missing, but for the few of us that were able to get together it was fun. Here are some pics from the day. Elizabeth and Robert had also come for the weekend, so we had fun catching up with the Boydston's and having another couple to do things with- thanks to Neta for keeping our bumbles on Saturday night so that we could go out

Happy 1st Birthday baby boy !

Happy Birthday to our sweet baby boy Knox !! He is 1 today ! We have been very blessed to have such a sweet baby join our family. He is so laid back and very patient. He is growing and learning so much everyday. So here are some pictures from a year ago and some from his cupcake eating experience today. Sorry to those of you who have weak stomachs for the c-section pic, but I think its awesome.

the brady bunch

alright - this is a post from bryan. so i managed to make it almost 29 years on this earth without seeing the brady bunch. i have seen parts of it over the last 3 weeks since presley discovered it - so i officially still have never seen an entire episode of the brady bunch. conversely, presley almost made it three years without seeing the brady bunch. now that she has seen it she is hooked - as you can tell from the video. anyway, she was asking to watch the brady bunch, and it had finished about an hour earlier (when she was watching milo and otis while playing with her dolls). you can see in the video that she was dissapointed that she couldn't see the brady bunch. it makes me wonder how i have survived without the brady bunch if it is so important to an innocent little 3 year old (well, 3 in a little over 2 days). the power of domestic containment running rampant on the american television screen has already had its affects upon my little girl - thanks cold war (is it really over yet?).

presley and knox received some gifts from their aunty tash, uncle vince, cousin blaze, and cousin darryl a few days ago. here is a video of them opening their package from new zealand.

Yadda, Yadda, Yadda....

So have you decided to protest the Olympics yet ? Bryan always has intelligent stuff to blog about, me on the other hand...Well lets see where do we start. Presley is cracking us up with her southern accent, I swear I don't sound as redneck as she does but, she had to learn it somewhere right?? She sounds like her aunt Stephanie who is the most southern speaking person I know. she has successfully turned 1 syllable words into 2 syllables, amazing I tell ya !! Knox has started walking- well a couple of steps at a time and then realizes that crawling is much faster. Knox has been such a trooper with the switch to cloth diapers. Ya- crazy huh. but let me explain. 1st it is very GREEN, not the number one reason I am doing it but since everyone thinks going green is cool I will put it as my number 1 reason :). 2nd it saves me green, we are interested to see how much it will save us. 3rd it really isn't as difficult as you would think it would be and you get better at it as time goes by. It was quiet expensive to get started, about 2 months worth of diapers out front, but the money saving will come. They make these awesome all in one cloth diapers that look just like disposable that you just put an insert in and they are super easy to use (catch is they are about $20 each). then we have the regular cloth diapers that you put a cover over and those have worked wonderfully too, plus you don't have to use pins any more just these things called snappis- they are genius. So ya if your interested check out http://www.cottonbabies.com/ . Def with travel we will use disposable but for a around the house they have been working out great. I will however have to post a pic of his night time diaper bum when he gets double diapered...it is hilarious. Hope all is well. We are headed to TN the 23rd of this month for 2 weeks. I am pretty excited. Oh ya- and Knox turns 1 and Presley 3 next week !! Here is a video of Knox taking a couple of steps. Enjoy !
