found this redneck novelty item at shopko on saturday.  knox loves it, and as you can see his redneck dancing skills have improved greatly since the institution of this high quality education tool in our home.  

2 healthy bumbles !!

We had well child checks today. It was nice to get them both taken care of in one visit. Presley is 3 years old, 37 lbs (90th %ile) and 38 inches tall (75th %ile). Knox is one year old, 22 lbs (40th %ile) and 30 inches tall (45 %ile). The percentile stuff is all kind of crap- but I guess it gives a general guide line. I feel very greatful today to be blessed with 2 healthy beautiful children. Bryan and I are so proud of them and they bless our lives everyday. Here is why you don't give a one year old an oreo...he enjoyed it though !

What is your most embarrassing moment? Ummm...well there are so many, but not so sure which one stands out more than the other...heres one from way back...6th grade- my gym teacher told me not to go to the tanning bed that it would fry my ovaries and I told her "no it won't I wear my goggles", yeah seeing as how ovaries are in your eyes...

What is something you laugh about every time you think about it? When playing softball at BYU, My friends Ariel, Elizabeth, and Oli, and I would have "move of the day" in the van on the way to games and we all had to do that dance move when we would dance in the van...crazy girls

What is your favorite season? I absolutely love FALL !! I love the colors and the weather, not too hot, not too cold perfect !

One thing that i have learned throughout my life that you would give advice to others? Do what makes you happy. Pleasing others is awesome, but don't sell yourself short in doing so.

Who is my hero? My husband. He is amazing. He does it all ! He is a wonderful father and I love how creative he is when he plays with our babies. He is sooooo smart and has such ambition. I admire how he seems to so easily prioritize his life and that he always puts spiritual things first. He is a great example for me and our children. Im so glad that I have eternity to spend with him.

What is your favorite goofy thing your spouse does to make you fall in love all over? I love how when he is feeling playful he will try and dance...not like breakdancing or anything just, he will just grab me and try and sway his hips and slow dance...cracks me up...or when he tries to wrestle and one of us ends up getting hurt!

What is your favorite book of all time? ummmmm....I liked tuesday mornings with Mori...

What is one of your pet peeves? Flakiness, do what you say-

What has been your favorite place to travel and Why? The Netherlands !! Bry and I lived there for 4 months and we had so much fun together, riding bikes, going to the beach, eating falafels, rinding trains....It was so beautiful and we look forward to going back.

If you had alot of money to invest what would it be in and why? Bryan just took a finance class and he is all about investing- But I think I would invest in a program that would find families that want to adopt children and place children for a fraction of the cost that it costs for a regular adoption.

Trip to Tennessee

I guess it is time to catch up on what we have been up to for the last couple of weeks. We went to Tennessee on the 23rd of April to visit with family. The time went way too fast. While there I ran a half marathon with my friend Tenniel. The race was awesome and we did pretty well. After the race we drove back down to Chattanooga and had a birthday party for our 2 April babies. The next week and a half we had there was pretty uneventful. We caught up with several good friends and just hung out with family. It was nice to relax and enjoy our break. So I am going to post some pics from the last couple of weeks. Oh ya- just something that Presley said the day before we left...we went to get breakfast a a restaurant called BoJangles and Presley called it DingleBells...Anyway here are some pics !

So this has been an eventful week....3rd post since last Thursday !! Anyway- Shade clothing had a big sale on Saturday and Elizabeth and I ran over there and picked up some stuff. One of the shirts that I got, they also had the size for Presley so here we are sporting our new shirts as twins !

So it may seem a little redundant since we just posted a birthday post for Knox that we are now doing one for Presley. Their birthdays are only 2 days apart- so here is a little post for our baby girl. Presley is getting so big !! It is hard to believe that she is already 3 ! She loves to give hugs and kisses. She is a sweet girl who absolutely loves animals. She tries hard to please, but definitely has a mind of her own. We love her very much and are so grateful to have her in our family. And for those who enjoyed Knox's c-section pic- here is one of Presley.

So not only did we have a birthday to celebrate yesterday we also had a little BYU softball reunion. There was a lot of people missing, but for the few of us that were able to get together it was fun. Here are some pics from the day. Elizabeth and Robert had also come for the weekend, so we had fun catching up with the Boydston's and having another couple to do things with- thanks to Neta for keeping our bumbles on Saturday night so that we could go out

Happy 1st Birthday baby boy !

Happy Birthday to our sweet baby boy Knox !! He is 1 today ! We have been very blessed to have such a sweet baby join our family. He is so laid back and very patient. He is growing and learning so much everyday. So here are some pictures from a year ago and some from his cupcake eating experience today. Sorry to those of you who have weak stomachs for the c-section pic, but I think its awesome.

the brady bunch

alright - this is a post from bryan. so i managed to make it almost 29 years on this earth without seeing the brady bunch. i have seen parts of it over the last 3 weeks since presley discovered it - so i officially still have never seen an entire episode of the brady bunch. conversely, presley almost made it three years without seeing the brady bunch. now that she has seen it she is hooked - as you can tell from the video. anyway, she was asking to watch the brady bunch, and it had finished about an hour earlier (when she was watching milo and otis while playing with her dolls). you can see in the video that she was dissapointed that she couldn't see the brady bunch. it makes me wonder how i have survived without the brady bunch if it is so important to an innocent little 3 year old (well, 3 in a little over 2 days). the power of domestic containment running rampant on the american television screen has already had its affects upon my little girl - thanks cold war (is it really over yet?).
